Windows Vista, Milton Keynes Windows Vista is no longer supported and Office 2007 drop out of support on 10th October 2017. Firefox drops support for Vista in September 2017.

There are a few steps you can take if you rather like Vista and don't want to move on:

  1. Use Lunascape for browsing the internet and emails. If you cannot download Lunascape because Internet Explorer no longer works, you can download it on another PC and install with a memory stick.
  2. AVG Free antivirus still supports Vista, so its a good choice.
  3. Use Libre Office instead of Microsoft Office.
  4. Stick to mainstream websites.
  5. Don't use your PC for banking or shopping etc. A tablet like an iPad is more secure.
